Karolina Jaremkiewicz, MA, is a Psychological Associate (#94027104) currently under the supervision of Dr. Max Maisel, PhD (#31101). Before joining the team at Beachfront Anxiety Specialists, she received years of extensive training and supervised experience working with a broad range of anxiety disorders and OCD themes at Renewed Freedom Center, a highly respected OCD and anxiety clinic in Los Angeles. She is particularly passionate about helping motivated teens and adults who want to get better, but are feeling stuck. Karolina is adept at providing compassionate and change-oriented guidance to help her clients move towards recovery from OCD or anxiety.
Karolina received her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, with an emphasis in Marriage & Family therapy, from Pepperdine University. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from UCLA. During this time, she also studied abroad at the University of Cape Town, South Africa. Ms. Jaremkiewicz is currently working towards her doctoral degree in Applied Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She completed her internship at Journey’s Counseling in Torrance, California where she worked with patients with a wide range of disorders including anxiety, depression, and trauma-related disorders. Ms. Jaremkiewicz has obtained numerous certifications in evidence-based treatments to ensure that she is utilizing the most effective treatments in her therapy sessions. She is particularly passionate about helping teens and adults overcome OCD and OCD-related concerns with a compassionate and change-focused lens.
Ms. Jaremkiewicz is a first-generation American whose parents emigrated from Poland, and she understands the importance of identifying and healing from intergenerational trauma, especially in the context of OCD or other anxiety disorders. Her strong sense of compassion, genuine concern for others, and unconditional positive regard allow her to collaborate with her patients so that they can heal, grow, and feel empowered.
