Amanda is known for her calm, collaborative presence and her ability to help clients face even the most distressing thoughts and sensations with courage and compassion. She believes that anxiety disorders are highly treatable with the right support, and she loves helping clients develop new patterns of attention, behavior, and self-trust.

Before becoming a therapist, Amanda spent over a decade supporting at-risk youth in residential, academic, and clinical settings. She later earned her PhD in Social Work from the University of Southern California, where her research focused on behavioral health, trauma, and social networks in marginalized communities. She has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles and brings both scholarly insight and lived clinical experience to her work.

Amanda is especially attuned to how anxiety and OCD intersect with trauma histories, identity development, and cultural or family dynamics. She is passionate about working with teens, young adults, caregivers, and professionals who find themselves stuck in loops of overthinking, avoidance, or self-doubt.
