Symptoms include pounding heart, muscle tension, dry mouth, feelings of dread, dizziness, sweating palms, depersonalization/dissociation, chest pain, and tingling/cold hands or feet. People frequently worry that they will die, go crazy, lose touch with reality, or faint. The trick to overcoming panic is recognizing the tricks anxiety plays on us and learning how to respond differently to our body's natural reaction to perceived danger.

However, our mind can be TOO good at doing this, to the point where it's far too easy to get stuck in negative thinking styles.
