Dr. Tumini Sekibo, Psy.D
Dr. Sekibo is a licensed clinical psychologist who completed her doctorate degree in clinical psychology at California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks. She has received extensive clinical training in caring for culturally diverse clients in community mental health settings, such as the California Lutheran University Community Counseling Center and Vista del Mar Child and Family Services.
Dr. Sekibo has years of experience and thousands of hours under her belt providing therapy services to adults, children and families facing various challenges such as OCD and general anxiety, traumatic stress, panic and eating disorders, child disruptive behaviors, and so much more. She enjoys providing parents with behavioral strategies to address interpersonal dynamics. She also has a proven track-record of applying mindfulness-based interventions, such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which she uses to deliver recovery and personal growth in clients managing various forms of anxiety.

Josh Kohansamad, AMFT
Josh is an associate Marriage and Family Therapist (# 129682) and who is currently under the supervision of Dr. Max Maisel, PhD. Josh received his Masters degree in clinical psychology from Antioch University in Santa Barbara, CA. Before joining Dr. Maisel’s practice, Josh worked as a therapist who specialized in treating OCD, anxiety, and depression at the Jewish Federation of Greater Santa Barbara, a prestigious non-profit organization
Josh has devoted his professional career to helping people heal with OCD and anxiety disorders by providing state-of-the art interventions with a warm, compassionate, and engaging style. He is a member of the International OCD Foundation and has helped develop resources for young clinicians learning to treat OCD and related disorders. He has been invited to lecture at local universities to help graduate students understand theory and practice of evidence-based therapies for anxiety.
In addition to OCD and anxiety disorders, Josh has a special interest in relationships and dating and he has helped many men learn to empower themselves in their dating lives.

Christine Hanna, LCSW
Christine Hanna (#82185) is a licensed clinical social worker who earned her Masters degree in Social Work from the prestigious program at the University of Southern California. She has been practicing social work since 2001, and has comprehensive experience working with individuals with OCD, anxiety, PTSD, at-risk youth, and people experiencing stress due to major life transitions.
Christine joins the Beachfront Anxiety Specialists team with extensive agency and clinical experience. In addition to her work at Beachfront, she currently serves as a program director for a local boutique residential treatment center for individuals with more severe OCD and anxiety struggles. She integrates exposure and response prevention, acceptance and commitment therapy, and psychoanalytic methods to help her clients feel immediate relief from symptoms while being able to navigate her clients through deeper work to affect long lasting change.

Max Maisel, PHD
Dr. Maisel is a clinical psychologist (License 31101) with a PhD from the APA accredited program at Brigham Young University, Utah. He received his bachelors degree in intensive psychology from the University of California Santa Cruz, where he graduated with honors. Dr. Maisel has developed his expertise in treating OCD and anxiety over the past 10 years. He has worked with diverse clients in a broad range of settings, including the OCD and Anxiety Clinic at PCH Treatment Center, several University Counseling Centers (LMU, BYU, CSUN), community mental health (BYU Comprehensive Clinic), substance dependence treatment facilities (Salt Lake City VA Hospital), Chronic Pain Management Centers (Utah Valley Pain Management), and charter schools (working with ages 10 to 17).

He completed his APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship at California State University, Northridge (CSUN) and his post-doctoral fellowship at Loyola Marymount University (LMU). In his free time, he loves traveling the world with his wife, going on hikes, spending time with his daughter, binging on the latest Netflix or Hulu series, and practicing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
